Cruisin wit da boyz

After a year and a half of separation, we finally got to see Hans and Reezie again!  We played all morning in the bounce house, out on the play ground, and up in the bonus room.  Right before the departed, we got out our coolest toy - the Barbie Jeep - and the boyz went nuts.  Hans was at the wheel and was quit reckless.  We had the best time!  Can't wait to see them again on their way back from West Virginia.  And again this upcoming summer for our vacation in Destin, Florida!

Happy Halloween!

This year, dressed as Belle and Cinderella, we begged to trick-or-treat with our best friends Elle and Emri (aka, Daphne and Arial).  We raced from door to door and new exactly what to do.  Accept for Lila, that is, who struggled to keep up with the "big" kids, preferring to be carried from door to door.   She may have had a good excuse, though, since she was out sick that day due to a mild case of strep.  We didn't want the evening to end so all the girls returned to the Wright house for hot chocolate.  Which was barely drank because as soon as the moms walked away the kids were off to play!

Honey Suckle Pumpkin Patch

One of the many fun things we did in October was go to Honey Suckle Farms Pumpkin Patch in Springfield, TN.   Even though it was very crowded, we had a great time and spent several hours exploring all the activities.  They had lots of playgrounds, a sand pit for digging, a "corn popper" for jumping, a hay ride, and a rock mining stream. The last time we were at this patch was when Lila was only a month old and we went with the Lassiter's.  That was a fun time, too!

Lila's 4th birthday in Atlanta, GA

On Septmeber 22, your 4th birthday Lila, we went to the American Girl Store in Atlanta.  You had been begging to stay in a hotel again since our looooooong trip (drive) to Maine last Christmas.  And it has always been my dream to take you girls to the American Girl store.  So our dreams finally came true.  Ha!  We were all overwhelmed by everything there was to buy.  And you guys (well, Ava that is) wanted it all.  Ava ended up with as much as you Lila.  We just bought each of you similar items.  You played with the dolls and their accessories all weekend.  (We didn't buy dolls since Ava had my old Samantha doll and Lila had a Bitty Baby twin.)  You guys haven't picked them up since so it's a good thing we didn't spend $105 each on a doll.  But alas a fun weekend was had by all.   We even got to spend time with Uncle Troy, Aunt Catherine and cousins Gavin and Landon.  They celebrated both you and Landon's September birthdays with cake, presents, and a giant bounce house!!!

Our sweet angel "baby" turns 4!

Here we are four years later and I finally decide to return to blogging.  It's been a crazy four years and I wish I had kept up with this blog better but what can you do when you are trying to keep up with a new born baby/todder/preschooler/grade schooler.  Seems things have settled down a bit so I am just going to start from Lila's 4th birthday party at our house on September 16th.  Maybe one day I will finish scrapbooks of her birth through four years!  And Ava, well, atleast you've got a blog on your first three years.  Which I actually just published and will present to you on your 7th birthday in a few weeks!  That actually inspired me to return to blogging your lives.  A nice book to have each year on your birthday as a year in review.  Now if I can just keep it short and simple, maybe I will post our lives regularly...
